Our client is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join their professional team in Dundee. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a varied role supporting private client affairs, trusts and tax administration within a highly confidential environment.
About the Role
You will provide high-quality support across a range of private client matters. Working closely with senior stakeholders and professional advisers, you will assist with trust administration, tax compliance processes, record management and regulatory requirements while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive administrative support across private client, trust and tax matters
Maintaining accurate and confidential records
Assisting with trust administration, including preparing schedules and supporting meetings
Supporting tax compliance processes by gathering information and monitoring reporting deadlines
Preparing payment instructions, expense summaries and supporting documentation
Liaising with external advisers including solicitors, accountants and banking professionals
Assisting with HMRC-related administration, correspondence and trust registration processes
Managing diaries, meetings and correspondence for senior stakeholders
Supporting compliance activities
Assisting with a range of ad hoc administrative and private client projects
About You
Previous experience within private client
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach
A high level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Scottish private client practice would be beneficial
