Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: Up to £60,000 per year + KPI-related bonus
We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to help launch and lead a brand-new children’s residential home in Bournemouth.
The home will support up to four children and young people with learning disabilities, complex needs and additional support requirements.
You will join at the start of the service’s development and play a key role in the Ofsted registration process, recruitment, service setup and ongoing management of the home.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the setup and Ofsted registration of the new home
* Recruit, develop and manage the care team
* Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding and person-centred care
* Manage staffing, budgets and day-to-day operations
* Build strong relationships with families, professionals and local authorities
Requirements
* Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
* At least two years’ experience as a Registered Manager
* Strong experience within children’s residential care
* Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding legislation
* Experience supporting children with learning disabilities or complex needs is desirable
