Job Title: Project Engineer Controls and Instrumentation
Location: Blackburn
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (OTE £62,000+)

Job Role of the Project Engineer Controls and Instrumentation

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Engineer Controls and Instrumentation to join a globally recognised manufacturing business with a long-standing history of innovation and operational excellence. Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Controls & Instrumentation Project Engineer

Previous experience working as a Project Engineer, Controls Engineer or Improvement Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of PLC control systems, HMI, SCADA and instrumentation.
Proven experience delivering engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple departments and contractors.
Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, engineering standards and contractor management.

Requirements for the Controls & Instrumentation Project Engineer

Experience planning, managing and delivering engineering projects to agreed timescales and budgets.
Ability to coordinate internal teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
Experience producing technical documentation, reports and project updates.
Knowledge of risk assessments, safe systems of work and engineering compliance.
Experience carrying out site inspections to monitor project progress, quality and safety.
Ability to support procurement activities through equipment specification reviews and supplier coordination.
Degree qualified in Electrical, Controls or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
