Quality Assurance Engineer
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Based in Ampthill
Offering up to £55,000
Do oyu have experience generating control plans from drawings for part/assemblies?
Do you have experience working in an AS9100 manufacuring environment?

As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
Generating control plans from drawings for parts/assemblies
Managing non-conformance process from containment through quarantine to effective RCCA
Participating in design reviews and drawing reviews
Your skillset may include:
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, non-conformance management, and root cause analysis techniques
Experience working within an AS9100-regulated manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation
Experience with Control Plans, RCCA, and quality problem-solving methodologies
Experience within Aerospace or Defence manufacturing
Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
SAP experience or familiarity with similar ERP systems
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools
Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality-related qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent)
