As the Java DevOps Engineer, you will become part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and modernizing Java-based applications hosted on a cloud platform. Working closely with Product Owners, Architects, and fellow engineering teams, you will play a key role in delivering scalable and secure solutions while helping drive automation and DevOps maturity across the organization.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain business-critical applications using Java technologies.
• Collaborate within a DevOps team to deliver high-quality software solutions across the full development life cycle.
• Design and implement APIs and integration services using modern integration technologies.
• Contribute to Front End development using frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Deploy and support applications in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement of development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.
• Explore and apply emerging technologies such as AI, Kotlin, and Quarkus to improve delivery and innovation.

• 3-4 years of professional experience with Java development.
• Experience with Python, APIs, and application integration.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Front End technologies such as Angular or React.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Interest in modern frameworks and technologies such as Kotlin and Quarkus.
• Affinity with applying AI technologies within software development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent Dutch and strong English communication skills.
