Location: London Borough of Greenwich
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in an supportive secondary special school setting in Greenwich, supporting students aged 11-19 with ASD, SEMH needs, and behavioural difficulties.
This role is particularly well suited to aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, youth workers, therapists, or behaviour specialists, as well as those with a strong interest in SEN and inclusive education.
The Role:
Full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant position
Based in a specialist, inclusive setting within the London Borough of Sutton
Supporting students aged 11-19 with ASD, SEMH, and behavioural needs
Providing 1:1 and small group support inside and outside the classroom
Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learningIdeal Candidate:
A genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs
Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour and emotional support
Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential)
