Glasgow | Pharmacy Dispenser | £28,000 per annum

The job: support the local community by ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medication while delivering outstanding customer service in a busy, patient-focused pharmacy.

The person: An organised and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser with an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy environment

Responsibilities in your new role as Pharmacy Dispenser

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you'll play an important role in ensuring patients receive a safe, efficient, and friendly service. Key responsibilities include:

* Dispensing and preparing prescriptions accurately

* Supporting pharmacists with day-to-day dispensary duties

* Providing excellent customer service and answering patient queries

* Processing prescriptions and maintaining accurate records

* Managing stock levels, including ordering and rotating medicines

* Following all pharmacy procedures, legal requirements, and health and safety standards

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

* Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the pharmacy

Your personality, experience and qualifications

You will be accurate, organised, and passionate about providing excellent patient care. You'll ideally have:

* An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing

* Previous experience in a community or retail pharmacy (preferred)

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* A proactive and reliable approach to work

* Good spoken and written English

* The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
