Supply Chain Coordinator - Bury St Edmunds - £30-35k
We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in improving supplier communication, purchasing processes and supply chain visibility across the business
Salary: £30-35k
Hours: 08:00-17:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Role responsibilities:
Raise, issue and maintain purchase orders accurately and in line with company procedures.
Liaise with suppliers regarding acknowledgements, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
Track supplier orders from purchase order through to delivery, ensuring visibility of supplier performance and OTIF measures.
Identify material shortages, delivery risks or supplier delays that could impact production or customer commitments.
Maintain accurate purchasing information to support Finance and payment processing.
Coordinate inbound freight, supplier deliveries and collections whilst keeping internal stakeholders updated.
Escalate concerns relating to cost, quality or delivery performance in a timely manner.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience within a Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement or Supplier Coordination role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on outstanding actions.
Someone proactive who can identify potential supply chain risks and help resolve issues before they escalate.
