Our prestigious client is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Maidstone & surrounding areas; this person is responsible for carrying out field-based service and repairs on the company's equipment to a high standard in a professional and customer-focused way.
This role will involve travelling to various customer locations in and around Maidstone and surrounding areas and on occasions further afield as the role requires.
Location: Maidstone and surrounding area

Responsible for the configuration, quality, and accuracy of products.
Independently isolate and resolve issues raised by customers.
Troubleshoot product issues and effectively complete repairs.
Understanding of spare parts and routine product repairs.
Ensure specified processes, procedures, and reporting methods are followed.
Perform preventive maintenance checks and adjustments.
Perform product repairs and maintenance at client sites
Provide outstanding customer service in educating customers on product repair, maintenance and usage.
Serve as product expert and brand ambassador.
Ensure hardware, software and network of the product is functioning properly after each service.
Properly record and replenish the inventory and spare parts in the service vehicle.
Maintain the company supplied vehicle to ensure it's in good working order. The successful Field Service Technician will have the following related skills / experience:
Associate degree in Electronics, Technical School certification as an Electronics Technician, or equivalent technical training preferred but not required
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical customer service position
Team player attitude and taking accountability
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Good problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet
Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance
Flexible schedule required Monday through Friday, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed by mutual agreement
A full, clean driving license is essential
