Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you an ambitious Town Planner looking for your next opportunity in the South East? Our client, a well-established planning consultancy based in Chichester, is seeking a motivated Town Planner to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic development projects while developing your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As a Town Planner, you will be involved in all aspects of the planning process, working closely with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful planning outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
·Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.
·Undertaking planning appraisals and policy research.
·Providing planning advice to a varied client base.
·Liaising with local planning authorities and key stakeholders.
·Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation.
·Monitoring planning policy changes and relevant legislation.
·Supporting senior planners on larger and more complex projects.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
·A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
·MRTPI membership or progress towards chartership (preferred but not essential).
·Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or developer.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
·The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
·A proactive approach and a genuine passion for planning.
