Senior Purchasing Coordinator

Up to £48,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Purchasing Coordinator to join a growing organisation with a diverse property portfolio, including residential, commercial and development projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchasing and supplier management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take ownership of the procurement function while supporting ongoing business growth.

Description of the role:

Reporting into senior management, you will oversee purchasing activities across multiple operational sites and projects, ensuring materials, equipment and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing purchasing activities across operational sites, refurbishment and development projects.
Sourcing materials, equipment, operational supplies and plant hire.
Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and service agreements.
Monitoring supplier performance to ensure quality, value and timely delivery.
Verifying invoices, resolving discrepancies and supporting the finance team.
Coordinating deliveries and ensuring projects receive materials on schedule.
Managing stock control, inventory and inter-site transfers.
Handling product issues, returns and quality concerns.
Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing processes and systems.
Providing guidance and day-to-day support to a Purchasing Coordinator.About you:

Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement or buying role.
Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confidence building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
