Automotive Workshop Receptionist
Location: Skelmersdale
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Automotive Workshop Receptionist to join the autocentre based in Skelmersdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming customers and providing a professional first point of contact.
* Booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs, and MOTs.
* Managing incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries.
* Liaising with technicians and the workshop team to keep customers updated on vehicle progress.
* Preparing job cards, invoices, and maintaining accurate customer records.
* Processing payments and handling daily administrative tasks.
* Ensuring the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming.
What We're Looking For
* Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience (automotive experience is desirable but not essential).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
* A positive attitude and a professional approach to customer service.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
