The role of Estimator – Specialist Joinery & Woodworking will involve:

* Estimator position dealing with a high end range of bespoke furniture & joinery projects for residential sectors (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets, surfaces etc.)

* Managing projects from initial enquiry through to final quotation, ensuring accurate and commercially viable pricing

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents to identify scope, materials, quantities and project requirements

* Producing detailed take-offs, BOQs and quotations within required deadlines

* Estimating material, labour, manufacturing and installation costs

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain costs for specialist materials and outsourced requirements

* Working closely with designers, architects, clients and production teams throughout the estimating process

* Providing technical support, answering client queries and maintaining strong relationships

* Supporting project handovers and monitoring costs through to completion

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Specialist Joinery & Woodworking with

* Must have Estimating experience within the joinery, bespoke interior products, furniture market or closely related sectors

* Great technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs

* Highly organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment

* Good team player who also works well individually
