Citrix SME - Senior Infrastructure Engineer - DV Cleared - £610 p/d inside IR35 - Full time onsite - On call hours

One of our government clients is looking for an experienced Citrix SME to join them for a 6 month contract. They are offering £610 per day INSIDE IR35.

Our client is based near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London. Due to the nature of the role, our client is unable to offer Hybrid, Remote or Homeworking arrangements. On-site attendance will form part of the contract.

This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.

As the Citrix SME, you will be responsible for the stability, performance and ongoing support of a secure Citrix virtual applications and desktop environment. You will be operating within a highly regulated setting, and you will focus on maintaining reliable end user access to critical services while ensuring platform resilience and security.

You will provide expert troubleshooting, support platform improvements, and contribute to operational documentation and knowledge transfer. You will need to have strong hands on Citrix experience and the ability to work effectively in a controlled, service managed environment.

Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Design, build, upgrade and support of Citrix environments
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting in high availability environments
• Integration with Active Directory and secure access solutions
• Understanding of user experience optimisation in virtual desktop platforms
• Experience operating Citrix in secure or government environments (desirable)
• Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA V)
• Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP V)
• Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE V)

On-Call

There will be a requirement for the individual to work a number of on-call shifts as part of this role covering standard BAU services. A flat fee is payable for completing a 12 hour weekday shift (7pm - 7am) or 24 hour weekend or bank holiday shift (7.00am - 7.00am) whether the individual is called upon or not.
