Lead MLOps Engineer (Contract)

We're supporting a leading UK heritage brand on the appointment of a Lead MLOps Engineer (Contractor) to help scale and optimise their machine learning platform capabilities.

You'll play a key role in designing and enhancing enterprise MLOps infrastructure, enabling data science teams to rapidly deploy, monitor and manage models in production.

This role has been created to provide the seniority, technical leadership and real-world experience required to establish best practice, improve operational maturity and ensure machine learning can be delivered reliably at enterprise scale.

This is a unique opportunity to join a major modern technology transformation programme at a pivotal stage and help shape the future AI and machine learning landscape across the business.

Key Skills/experience

• Strong commercial MLOps engineering experience at Senior/Lead level
• Cloud platform experience: GCP essential, Azure nice to have
• Experienced operating in large scale complex data environments
• Large scale modern tech transformation programme experience is highly desirable
• CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience supporting production ML workloads at scale

Details

• Hybrid working, London 3 days per week near Holborn (which will flex/reduce over time)
• £850-£900 per day Inside IR35
• Immediate start preferred
• Must be UK based
