Location: South Staffordshire
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Sleep-in Payment: £62.75 per sleep-in
Expected Earnings: Approximately £31,000+ per annum (based on an average of 7+ sleep-ins per month)

Are you passionate about helping children achieve their full potential? We're looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join our therapeutic children's home in South Staffordshire.

You'll play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children aged 5-12 years, helping them build confidence, develop meaningful relationships and prepare for long-term family placements.

Whether you already have experience in residential childcare or have worked with children and young people in another setting, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you'll:

* Build positive, trusting relationships with children.

* Provide therapeutic, child-centred care in a safe home environment.

* Support children with daily routines, education and social development.

* Encourage positive behaviour through consistent boundaries.

* Work alongside therapists, social workers, schools and other professionals.

* Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing at all times.

* Help children develop independence, confidence and life skills.

* Participate in fun activities, holidays and outings.

* Contribute to care planning and individual therapeutic support.

What We're Looking For

Essential

* A genuine passion for working with children and young people.

* A positive, child-centred approach.

* Commitment to safeguarding and achieving positive outcomes.

* Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma/QCF in Residential Childcare within the required timescale (if not already qualified).

Desirable

* Previous experience working with children or young people.

* Experience within residential care, education, youth work, fostering, supported accommodation or similar settings.
