Project Engineer
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Company Car/Car Allowance + Overtime + Food Allowance + Career Development
Are you an experienced Project Engineer looking to work on specialist engineering projects across the UK?
Do you have experience installing and commissioning industrial machinery or process equipment?
Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in the search for a Project Engineer to join their growing Projects team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke industrial process and sterilisation systems, managing installations from delivery through to commissioning and customer handover.
In return, our client is offering:
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Company Car or Car Allowance
40-hour working week
Overtime Available
Food Allowance when working away
Excellent career progression
Ongoing training
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering installation and commissioning projects on customer sites throughout the UK. This role involves regular travel and staying away during the working week, with all food costs subsidised whilst working away.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing industrial process equipment
Mechanical assembly and utility connections
Electrical final connections
Commissioning machinery
Mechanical and electrical fault finding
Completing IQ/OQ/PQ and SAT documentation
Customer training
Liaising with Project Managers
Producing site reports and timesheets
Supporting Factory Acceptance Tests
The Ideal Candidate: You'll have experience working as a:
Project Engineer
Commissioning Engineer
Installation Engineer
Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
Field Service Engineer
Process Engineer
Along with experience in:
Industrial machinery installation
Mechanical assembly
Electrical fault finding
Reading engineering drawings and P&IDs
Commissioning industrial equipment
Customer-facing engineering roles
Experience within sterilisation, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing or process industries would be highly advantageous.
You'll also need:
Full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to travel nationwide
Ability to stay away Monday-Friday
Excellent communication skills
