Site Supervisor – Parliamentary Refurbishment – London
We are currently supporting a leading UK construction and engineering services provider on the appointment of a Site Supervisor to join their team delivering high-profile refurbishment works across parliamentary and heritage estates.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a highly regulated, security-sensitive environment on technically complex projects, providing excellent exposure to live refurbishment works, stakeholder management, and structured career development.
Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Coordination
Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards within a live heritage environment.
Subcontractor Management
Oversee subcontractors and trades, ensuring strict compliance with conservation methods and heritage-sensitive procedures.
Health & Safety Compliance
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining full compliance with site regulations and statutory requirements.
Stakeholder & Heritage Liaison
Liaise with project managers, conservation specialists, and stakeholders to ensure works align with heritage preservation guidelines.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor progress, manage site documentation, and report on performance, ensuring any risks or issues are addressed promptly.
Requirements
* Must be based within a commutable distance of Westminster.
* Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work) certification and Asbestos Awareness certification.
* Ideally, previous experience working on heritage, listed buildings, or conservation-led projects.
