As Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school remains a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual who takes pride in their work, uses initiative, and can confidently manage the day-to-day operation of a busy secondary school site.
You will be responsible for site security, health and safety compliance, routine maintenance, contractor management, and the general upkeep of the school's buildings and grounds. A hands-on role that requires strong practical skills, excellent organisation, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across the school.
Key Responsibilities
Opening and securing the school site.
Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks.
Monitoring the condition of buildings, grounds, and facilities.
Managing contractors and overseeing site works.
Conducting health and safety checks and maintaining compliance records.
Setting up facilities for exams, events, and school activities.
Responding to site-related issues and emergencies as required.The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Caretaker, or Facilities role.
Strong maintenance and practical skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site compliance.
The ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
A flexible, professional, and positive approach to work.
