Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver - Tamworth

The Best Connection Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to work with one of our well-established clients, starting from Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular night work, straightforward trunking duties, guaranteed minimum pay, and a reliable ongoing assignment.

Pay & Hours

£17.00 per hour Monday - Friday
£18.00 per hour Saturdays
£20.00 per hour Sundays
Monday to Friday night shifts available
Start times between 17:00 and 02:00
45-minute unpaid break
Minimum 8 hours paid per shift, even if you finish earlier

Duties

Trunking nationwide from the Tamworth depot
Trailer swaps
No handballing involved
Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and working time regulations
Providing a professional and reliable service to customers

Requirements

Minimum 6 month's Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach
