Project Manager
Due to growth our Tamworth based client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Group Project Manager you will support key ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation programmes, including project planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, cutover activities, and delivery. You will also contribute to a wide range of PMO-led initiatives spanning functions such as IT, operations, supply chain, logistics, customer service, finance, HR, sales, and business transformation. Travel will also be required.
As a Project Manager, you will need to have/be:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Project Management role.
PRINCE2 certification required.
Strong organisational and project-planning abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to independently manage tasks and small project phases.
Experience creating detailed project documentation (project plans, business cases, reports, etc.).
Proficiency with project management software
Excellent telephone manner and client facing experience
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office 365.
Quick learner who can learn new technologies.
Driving Licence
Excellent written and verbal communication
A basic understanding of security and data privacy principlesDetails:
Salary: up to £47, 000 - £52, 000
Working Hours: Full time Monday - Friday
Location: Tamworth (on site full time)
Duration: PermanentRole of Project Manager:
Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects to ensure objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
Produce and maintain project documentation, including business cases, project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Track project resources, costs, and key performance metrics, providing accurate reporting and updates.
Support risk, issue, and change management processes, escalating matters appropriately when required.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO standards, processes, and best practices
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within a fast-paced business environmentBenefits of working as a Project Manager:
