Our client is seeking an experienced construction Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a residential apartment development on a busy site in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised professional to join a well-established project team on an on-going basis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the site alongside the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain programme deadlines.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to in line with current legislation and company policies.
Monitor quality standards and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications.
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress updates.
Liaise with the project management team, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project.Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates
Proven experience managing residential construction projects, ideally apartment developments.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to drive programme delivery while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality
