Role Overview
Lead a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients from planning through to completion
Manage complex audit assignments including group audits and owner-managed businesses
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing commercial and practical advice
Review work, oversee quality standards and support audit compliance
Mentor, coach and develop junior members of the audit team
Support business development, networking and identifying opportunities to add value to clients.
The Ideal Candidate
ACA or ACCA qualified
Strong experience managing audit assignments within a UK accountancy practice
Comfortable reviewing files and maintaining high technical standards
Confident building lasting client relationships and communicating commercial advice
Ambitious, proactive and interested in progressing towards Responsible Individual status
Enjoys working within a collaborative team and supporting the development of others.
What's on Offer
£70,000 - £80,000 base salary
Hybrid working - typically three days in the office and two from home after probation
Clear support and development towards Responsible Individual status
Ability to purchase up to 10 additional days' annual leave plus an extra day off for your birthday
