Location: Coventry City Centre
Pay: £16.50 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE
Hours: 09:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Contract: Temporary, 24 July - 17 September (possibility of extension)

We're recruiting a Summer Maintenance Operative to support a leading student accommodation provider during the crucial summer turnaround period.
This is a hands-on role focused on preparing accommodation for the new academic year, ensuring rooms and communal areas are maintained to a high standard for incoming students and summer guests. If you have maintenance experience and enjoy practical work in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the site
Assist with room refreshes and preparation for new residents
Support move-in activities, including occasional heavy lifting
Complete basic plumbing, painting and decorating tasks
Undertake paint work, mastic work and replacements
Perform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Technician team and wider site staff
Help deliver a positive experience for residents and guestsAbout You
Previous experience in residential maintenance, facilities, property maintenance or a trade such as plumbing or carpentry
Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
Positive attitude and strong team-working skills
Flexible and proactive, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Good communication skills and a professional manner
Trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential
