Conrad Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected employer seeking a motivated Building Surveyor to join its expanding team in Norwich. You'll benefit from a varied workload, flexible working, genuine career progression and the opportunity to work alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors.
The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you'll deliver a broad range of professional and project surveying services, including:
Building surveys and inspections
Condition surveys
Defect diagnosis and reporting
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Project management
Contract administration
Preparation of specifications and tender documentation
Refurbishment and maintenance projects
Dilapidations
Employer's Agent duties (where applicable)
This role offers excellent exposure to both professional surveying and project work, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience.
Requirements
Applicants should ideally have:
Degree in Building Surveying or similar
Experience within a building consultancy, property consultancy, local authority or client-side environment
Knowledge of building construction and current legislation
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Full UK driving licence
MRICS is welcomed but not essential. Candidates working towards APC chartership are encouraged to apply.
