Summer Production Operative – Temporary (Ideal for Students)
Location: Conwy
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
Contract: Temporary (2–3 months)
Are you looking for a summer job to earn extra money while gaining valuable work experience? We are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client in Conwy for a temporary assignment lasting 2–3 months, making it an ideal opportunity for students or anyone looking for short-term work.
The RoleAs a Production Operative, you'll be an important part of the production team, helping to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll receive full training and support throughout your assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily production activities to meet customer orders.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
Maintain high standards of product quality and food safety.
Monitor stock levels of packaging materials such as trays and boxes.
Ensure allergen controls are followed to prevent cross-contamination.
Report any machinery or production issues to the relevant supervisor.
Complete production paperwork accurately.
Support waste reduction initiatives across production.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Desirable Experience
Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
Experience within food manufacturing (particularly chilled, frozen, meat, or retail products) is advantageous but not essential.
A Food Hygiene certificate is beneficial, although not required.

Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekend work.
