Are you an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor looking to work on major rail and civil engineering projects?
We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a growing commercial team delivering a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across Wales. You'll play a key role in the commercial management of rail, bridges, stations, highways, tunnels and environmental schemes, supporting long-term frameworks and major infrastructure programmes.
Working closely with operational and project delivery teams, you'll take commercial responsibility for multiple projects from inception through to final account, ensuring successful financial and contractual outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Commercial management of multiple rail and civil engineering projects.
* Preparing valuations, applications for payment, CVRs and forecasts.
* Administering NEC contracts and managing change and compensation events.
* Procuring and managing subcontractors.
* Monitoring project costs, risks and commercial performance.
* Building strong relationships with clients, project teams and the supply chain.
You'll ideally have:
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within rail and/or civil engineering.
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
* Excellent commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
* The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (preferred).
