Atkinson Baker Associates are currently recruiting a heavy-hitting Project Manager on behalf of an innovative, highly successful Specialist Main Contractor.

The Client
Our client is a prominent leader in modern, fast-track construction, renowned for delivering high-quality, sustainable structural solutions across the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. They are currently mobilising for a highly anticipated, multi-million-pound public sector development in the Nottingham area set to commence this October and require an exceptional Project Manager to lead the delivery.

The Role
This is a high-profile leadership role where you will take total operational control of the project. You will manage the entire lifecycle from enabling works and groundworks through to complex crane lifts, technical structural assembly, and final high-spec fit-out.

Your duties will include:

Total Project Leadership: Driving the project from site setup in October through to final client handover, ensuring strict adherence to the master programme.
Logistics & Lifting: Overseeing highly complex logistics, massive crane operations, and the precise alignment and installation of pre-engineered structural assemblies.
Commercial & Programme Control: Working closely with the commercial teams to ensure the project is delivered profitably, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Stakeholder Management: Acting as the senior face of the project, liaising with the client, local authorities, and internal manufacturing/technical teams to ensure seamless delivery. Requirements

Essential: A formidable track record as a Project Manager for a Main Contractor, accustomed to managing rapid-build, logistically complex programmes.
Essential: Extensive experience managing complex crane lifts, heavy logistics, and high-precision structural installations.
Essential Qualifications: Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black (Manager) Card, First Aid, and ideally Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) awareness. What's on Offer
