The Opportunity

We're partnering with a growing technology services business that's looking to add an ambitious Account Manager to its commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, growing existing accounts and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell. You'll inherit a portfolio of warm customers and become a trusted advisor, helping clients get the most value from the services available.

This isn't a high-volume cold calling role. Instead, you'll focus on understanding your customers' businesses, uncovering opportunities and building long-term partnerships. With the business continuing to grow, there are genuine opportunities for career progression into more senior commercial roles.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Leadership team, you'll be responsible for managing and developing an existing customer portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Understand customer challenges and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to drive account growth.
  • Work closely with technical and operational teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Manage your sales pipeline and opportunities through to close.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Attend customer meetings both virtually and on-site.

About You

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for building relationships.

You'll be:

  • Commercially minded with a consultative approach.
  • Naturally curious and eager to understand customer needs.
  • Confident building long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and driven to succeed.
  • Keen to develop a career within the technology sector.

Experience

Previous account management or customer-facing B2B sales experience is essential.
