Clarence Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher for an exciting short-term teaching opportunity within a well-established secondary school in Leicestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate History specialist looking for flexible work while making a real impact in the classroom. The role will involve teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and encourage a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Role

Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons across KS3 and KS4
Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Follow school schemes of work and maintain high teaching standards
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Promote excellent behaviour and classroom engagement

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a History Teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
Can quickly establish positive relationships with students and staff
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Is adaptable, reliable, and able to hit the ground running
Maintains high expectations for achievement and behaviour
