Our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Production sector, is seeking a dynamic People Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis.
Position Details:
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 3 months
Start Date: July 15, 2026
End Date: October 12, 2026
Working Pattern: Full Time
Hourly Rate: £25.64
Driving Required: Yes

You'll collaborate closely with a People Business Partner to support our IS&T Customer Experience and Corporate Finance teams, while also engaging with the Trade Union on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key point of contact for managers, guiding them through complex employee relations cases.
Handle disciplinary, grievance, and appeal cases with professionalism and care.
Build and maintain strong relationships with unions and employee bodies.
Support organisational design and change initiatives.
Mediate disputes and manage tribunal case handling when necessary.
Create and review People policies to ensure they meet best practises and legal compliance.
Upskill managers through effective training, coaching, and mentoring.
Roll out a People Services case management system to streamline processes.
Stay updated on Employment Law changes and ensure compliance.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in Employee Relations is essential.
Familiarity with People systems is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written.
Strong stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to best practises.
