Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours/week, some flexibility required

Our charity is looking for a compassionate and motivated Children and Young People’s Specialist to support children and young people who have experienced or witnessed domestic abuse. This impactful role is part of our holistic rehabilitation and recovery programme, "Restored." If you are passionate about making a positive difference and empowering others, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support & Empowerment: Provide specialist, holistic support for children and young people, promoting healing and personal growth.

* Individualized Care: Develop and oversee support plans tailored to individual needs to ensure progress across key wellbeing areas.

* Collaboration & Advocacy: Work closely with families and multi-agency teams to deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.

* Safeguarding & Safety: Act as a Child Protection lead, prioritizing safety and wellbeing in line with safeguarding and Ofsted standards.

* Programme Delivery: Coordinate and facilitate activities, play sessions, and group programs that foster recovery and resilience.

* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, data protection compliance, and provide written reports for multi-disciplinary meetings as required.

Essential Requirements:

* Qualifications: A child/youth-related qualification (e.g., NNEB, NVQ Level 3 in Early Years, Youth Work, or equivalent) and a Paediatric First Aid qualification.

* Experience: Minimum experience working with children of various ages, managing caseloads, and working within a team setting.

* Skills: Strong interpersonal, crisis management, organizational, and record-keeping skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.

* Knowledge: A deep understanding of domestic abuse impacts, safeguarding practices, and risk management.
