To further accelerate a large-scale data transformation initiative, we are looking for an experienced Backend Java Developer to join a highly skilled technology team.

The Role

As a Backend Java Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of a strategic enterprise data platform. You will play a key role in modernising Legacy systems and building scalable, cloud-native Back End services based on a microservices architecture.

This position is fully focused on Back End software engineering and offers the opportunity to work on business-critical systems within an international environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and operate Java-based Back End microservices
• Refactor and migrate Legacy monolithic applications towards a modern microservices architecture
• Build RESTful APIs for data access and system integration
• Develop domain-driven and data-centric services
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of Back End systems
• Integrate with event streaming platforms such as Kafka
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
• Deploy and operate services within Azure cloud environments
• Apply modern software engineering best practices, including testing, code quality, and version control
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and product owners
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions to improve development efficiency and code quality

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Backend Java Developer
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining microservices
• Experience with REST API development and system integrations
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and DevOps methodologies
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and scalability
• Comfortable working in complex and international environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
