Healht and Safety Consultant

I'm currently supporting a leading, multi-award-winning provider of outsourced Health & Safety services with the search for an experienced and dynamic Health & Safety Consultant to join their growing team!

If you're passionate about helping businesses stay safe, compliant, and confident in their Health & Safety management, this could be the perfect next step in your consultancy career.

You'll be delivering a high-quality, cost-effective Health & Safety consultancy service to a broad portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. This is a field-based role where no two days are the same - one day you might be advising a construction firm on risk assessments, the next you could be guiding a professional services client through an HSE visit.

Your focus will be on building strong, trusted relationships with clients, providing practical advice, clear documentation, and real-world solutions.

Day to Day

Conduct on-site Health & Safety visits and audits, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.
Provide expert advice and tailored recommendations to clients on Health & Safety best practices.
Support clients with accident investigations, enforcement authority liaison, and crisis management where needed.
Produce high-quality reports, documentation, and management updates.
Deliver training, guidance, and practical implementation support for Health & Safety management systems.
Collaborate with internal colleagues, including Business Development Managers, to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through continuous development and training.

YOU?

We're looking for someone who combines deep technical knowledge with great communication skills and a commercial mindset.

Strong Health & Safety experience, ideally across multiple industries.
CMIOSH, GradIOSH or CertIOSH status (or working towards it).
Excellent relationship-building and client engagement skills.
The ability to translate legislation into practical, actionable advice.
A proactive, organised approach with the confidence to work independently.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, fast-growing consultancy that's genuinely passionate about making workplaces safer.

You'll work alongside a talented and supportive team that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

If you're a confident, people-focused Health & Safety professional who thrives on variety and wants to make a real impact, I'd love to hear from you!
