Selexa Group Ltd are partnered with a leading food & manufacturing client in the search for x4 Senior Maintenance Engineers to support a robust and high-output Maintenance function. These Engineer roles will be 4 on, 4 off days and nights, shift rotation.

You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving production equipment across production. As an experienced engineer within the team, you will provide advanced technical expertise, lead complex fault-finding activities and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency and operational performance.

Key Activities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities across grading, packing and ancillary equipment.

* Lead complex electrical and mechanical fault-finding activities and support rapid breakdown resolution.

* Provide advanced technical expertise across grading machines, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and automated production equipment.

* Utilise specialist engineering expertise in areas such as robotics, automation programming, process control, and advanced manufacturing systems to optimise equipment performance.

* Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement robust long-term solutions.

* Support the Shift Lead with the installation, commissioning and optimisation of new machinery and production systems.

* Support the Shift Lead in ensuring all maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and accurately recorded within the CMMS system.

* Assist the Shift Lead in delivering engineering projects that improve plant reliability, operational efficiency and overall site performance.

* Support the achievement of site production, quality and efficiency targets.

* Assist in developing preventative maintenance strategies that improve asset reliability and reduce reactive repairs

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

* Apprentice-trained/time-served Engineer, or qualified to City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent standard in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering

* Food Safety Qualification Level 2

* Current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations (C&G Level 3)

* Extensive experience within a food manufacturing, FMCG or highly automated production environment

* Advanced fault-finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems

* Demonstrable experience working with specialist engineering technologies, including robotics, PLC programming, automation systems, process control equipment, and advanced manufacturing machinery, with the ability to diagnose faults, implement improvements, and support complex production environments

* Proven experience maintaining conveyors, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics and packaging equipment

* Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

* Demonstrable track

* Food packaging or production experience is beneficial but NOT essential
