With a strong pipeline of major infrastructure and transportation projects, particularly within the Aviation sector, our client is seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join their growing team.

Aviation is a key growth sector for the business, with commissions ranging from airport terminal developments, passenger facilities and transport interchanges through to operational, commercial and mixed-use aviation-related environments. Alongside aviation, the team is actively involved in major rail, transportation and infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally.
The practice is recognised for delivering complex projects where architecture, engineering and operational requirements must seamlessly integrate to create world-class environments for passengers, operators and stakeholders alike.
The Role
As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the technical development and delivery of aviation and transportation projects, working closely with architects, engineers and project stakeholders to produce coordinated and technically robust design solutions.
You will contribute across multiple project stages, developing detailed design information, technical packages and construction documentation, whilst ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements, operational demands and client expectations.
This role is ideally suited to a technically focused professional looking to further their experience on large-scale, complex infrastructure schemes where quality, coordination and innovation are paramount.
Architectural Technologist Requirements
Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
CIAT accreditation or working towards Chartered status would be advantageous.
Approximately 1–5 years of industry experience within an Architectural Technologist role.
Experience working on technically complex projects within sectors such as:
Aviation
Rail & Transportation
Infrastructure
Commercial
Workplace
Education
Public Sector
Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.
Proficiency in Revit is essential.
Experience producing and coordinating technical drawing packages.
Working understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction standards.
Ability to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary design teams.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience coordinating with consultants and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Knowledge of BIM processes and project coordination would be highly advantageous.
