Residential Building Surveyor
The Company
Fed up with corporate targets and rushed surveys? This independent Devon consultancy was founded by two former Partners who wanted to do things differently.
In just five years, they've built a respected Residential Surveys & Valuations practice centred on quality over quantity. With a supportive team, realistic workloads and a genuine focus on work-life balance, it's a business where surveyors are trusted to do their best work.
With a target of just five surveys per week, you'll have the time to deliver high-quality reports without the constant pressure.
The Role
As a Residential Building Surveyor, you'll carry out RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Surveys, with opportunities to get involved in:
Client liaison before and after inspections
Desktop surveys
New-build snagging
Small project management work This is a home-based Residential Building Surveyor role offering autonomy, flexibility and plenty of variety.
About You
You'll be an experienced Residential Building Surveyor with:
AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS
Experience delivering Level 2 and/or Level 3 Surveys
Strong IT and digital reporting skills
Full UK driving licence Most importantly, you'll be looking for a business that values quality, not survey numbers.
What's in it for You?
£50,000–£55,000 salary
£4,200 car allowance
Commission after five surveys per week
Private healthcare
25 days holiday
Fully remote working
Professional fees paid
Laptop, phone and home office equipment
