Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons across a range of qualifications and levels.
Create an inclusive learning environment that supports learners of all abilities.
Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to promote achievement and progression.
Monitor learner attendance, progress, and performance, implementing interventions where required.
Prepare learners for further education, apprenticeships, and careers within the health and social care sector.
Develop high-quality teaching resources and learning materials.
Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and support services to enhance the learner experience.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, equality, and diversity policies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A degree or recognised qualification in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, or a related subject.
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one.
Current or previous industry experience within the health and social care sector.
Experience teaching BTEC, NCFE, CACHE, or similar vocational qualifications is desirable.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their goals.
Strong knowledge of current health and social care practices and legislation.
