The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join Westbridge Academy on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils with additional needs within a welcoming and inclusive primary academy. The successful candidate will have proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities and promote positive behaviour.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
Requirements
Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a UK school setting – essential.
Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs.
Strong communication skills with a patient, proactive, and caring approach.
