Carpenter / Multi-Trader – Social Housing
Location: Brent
Salary: £22.00 + Van & Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5:00pm
Contract: Contract, Full-Time

We are recruiting for a well-established social housing contractor, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services to local authority and housing association properties. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and getting the job done right the first time, we're looking to grow our dedicated team of trades professionals.
The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join our responsive repairs team. The successful candidate will carry out a range of carpentry works and associated multi-trade tasks in occupied and void social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works including doors, skirting, kitchens, and flooring
Deliver a range of secondary trades including basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and painting
Complete all works to a high standard, ensuring tenant satisfaction
Maintain professional conduct and appearance while representing the company
Use PDA systems to receive and close jobs
Comply with Health & Safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience in carpentry and multi-trade works (preferably in social housing or domestic settings)
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry (or time-served)
Competence in at least 2 additional trades (e.g., plumbing, tiling, plastering)
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Excellent customer service skills
DBS check or willingness to undergo one
