We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function across a varied project portfolio. This key leadership role will oversee budgeting, cost planning, CVR reporting, procurement strategy, and commercial governance while managing and developing a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the pre-construction commercial function, ensuring strong financial control and governance.
* Manage budgets, cost plans, forecasting, and the CVR process across multiple projects.
* Provide accurate reporting on costs, risks, opportunities, and forecast performance.
* Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
* Support tender submissions, cost planning, and value engineering initiatives.
* Oversee procurement strategies and early supply chain engagement.
* Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and supply chain partners.
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a pre-construction environment.
* Strong knowledge of CVR, cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
* Experience leading and developing commercial teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
* Experienced in Property Services
* Experience within planned works, SHDF.
