P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Bulk Production Operative to join their team based in Halesworth on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Pre-weigh and/or produce products to specific set methods whilst maintaining the highest quality standards.
* Pick raw materials within a warehouse environment using the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
* Carry out component transfers using multiple types of forklifts.
* Maintain stock control and accurate inventory records.
* Ensure high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness.
* Achieve optimum output and efficiencies within agreed timescales.
* Always Follow company protocols and Health & Safety regulations.
The ideal candidate must have:
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
* A strong understanding of metrics and good statistical/numerical ability.
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills with strong attention to detail.
* Experience using computerised scanners and ERP systems.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to motivate and influence others.
* The ability to work as part of a team as well as being self-motivated.
* A positive "Can do, Will do" attitude.
Working Hours:
* Weekly rotating shifts: 05:45 – 14:45 / 13:00 – 22:00
* 41.25 hours per week.
