P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Machine Technician to join their team based in Halesworth on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities:

* Undertake accurate and efficient setting of various production machines to ensure lines are ready in time for production.

* Ensure production lines meet quality standards and production targets.

* Follow all company procedures and safe working practices to a high standard.

* Support the wider Engineering Team with project activities.

* Assist with line trials for new products.

* Monitor machine performance and report any issues where necessary.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

* Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate must have:

* Previous experience as a Machine Technician or Line Setter within an FMCG/manufacturing environment.

* Good literacy and numeracy skills.

* Good IT skills.

* A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

* A positive "can do, will do" attitude.

* The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Working Hours:

* Weekly rotating shifts: 05:45 – 14:45 / 13:00 – 22:00

* 41.25 hours per week.
