Grass Roots Academic Support are seeking a skilled and dedicated Science Teacher to work within an SEMH school in the Thetford area
About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of teaching and learning, supporting pupil progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You will also provide calm, consistent support to pupils with autism and other complex needs, helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Mark and assess student work, providing clear feedback to support progress.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
* Model respectful, inclusive behaviour and contribute to a classroom culture where every student feels valued, heard, and respected.

To be considered for the role of SEMH Teacher, you will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Hold a valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
