Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Oxford
Salary: Up to £45,000

The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a leading facilities maintenance provider, is seeking a skilled engineer to join their team in Oxford.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy commercial environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure critical building systems and equipment remain fully operational. You'll be part of a professional engineering team committed to delivering a high-quality maintenance service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including motors, drives, sensors, control panels and associated systems.
* Support mechanical maintenance activities where required, including work on pumps, motors, bearings, belts and other plant equipment.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations.
* Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately using the site's maintenance management system.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the reliability of building services.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies and statutory regulations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
* A recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
* Previous experience within a facilities maintenance, building services or commercial maintenance environment.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Good mechanical knowledge and the ability to undertake general mechanical maintenance.
* Experience with PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
* A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
