HVAC Service Engineer – London
Location: London & Home Counties (Office based in Essex)
Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + Overtime + On-Call Allowance + Company Vehicle

The Role
This is a service and maintenance focused position, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive breakdowns, fault finding and repairs across a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC equipment. Installation experience is not essential; however candidates must have strong fault-finding abilities and a solid electrical understanding. Engineers travel directly from home to site each day, with occasional visits to the Essex office to collect parts when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial HVAC and air conditioning systems.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
* Service and maintain a variety of commercial AC and HVAC equipment.
* Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
* Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
* Liaise professionally with customers on-site.
* Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation.
* Work closely with the service team to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC or Air Conditioning systems.
* F-Gas Certification (Essential).
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
* Good understanding of mechanical HVAC systems.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Willingness to participate in an on-call rota following probation and competency review.
