A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager to join its successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who can deliver smaller projects independently while supporting Directors on larger commercial and hotel developments.
The Project Manager will work across a portfolio that is approximately 75% commercial, with the remaining projects focused mainly on hospitality projects. This Project Manager role would suit a capable Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects, managing clients, and supporting senior colleagues on more complex commissions. The successful Project Manager will also benefit from strong chartership support and a proven record of helping project management professionals achieve MRICS.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will lead smaller commercial and hotel projects while helping Directors deliver larger and more complex schemes.
The Project Manager will manage programmes, consultants, procurement, reporting, risks, meetings, contract administration, and contractor performance from inception through to completion.
The Project Manager will act as a key client contact, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor project progress, and maintain clear reporting throughout delivery. They will also support larger projects by taking ownership of defined workstreams and helping senior colleagues maintain programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will have:
Prior project management experience within a construction consultancy
Strong commercial project experience
Hotel project experience would be beneficial
The ability to deliver smaller projects with limited assistance
Experience supporting senior colleagues on larger projects
A relevant construction-related degree
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or a genuine desire to achieve chartership
Good knowledge of JCT contracts
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach
