A leading construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager with strong commercial experience to join its established project management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys delivering high-profile commercial developments and wants to progress their career within a respected consultancy.
The Project Manager will work across a diverse portfolio of commercial office developments, fit out, refurbishment, and mixed-use projects, taking responsibility for project delivery from inception through to completion. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager with strong commercial sector experience, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to manage projects independently. The successful Project Manager will join a collaborative team delivering high-quality projects for a range of leading occupiers, landlords, developers, and investors.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will manage commercial construction projects across London, ensuring successful delivery through all phases of the project lifecycle.
The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, consultant coordination, procurement, contract administration, risk management, project reporting, stakeholder engagement, and contractor management.
The Project Manager will chair project meetings, monitor project performance, manage client expectations, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will also build strong relationships with clients and contribute to the continued success of the commercial project management team.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Strong commercial project experience
Experience delivering office developments, commercial fit out, refurbishment, landlord, or occupier projects
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related discipline
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
Good knowledge of JCT contracts
Excellent communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
A proactive, commercially aware, and professional approach
