Managing Quantity Surveyor
North Hykeham, Lincoln | Site-Based | Up to £630 per day (Inside IR35) | 6-Month Contract (Potential to Extend/Permanent)
We're looking for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team, supporting the Structural team on one of Lincolnshire's largest highways infrastructure projects.
This is your opportunity to take ownership of the commercial delivery of a £5m roundabout package, forming part of an 8km bypass that will complete the Lincoln ring road.
The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in the commercial success of a major highways scheme, leading on a critical work package while providing support and guidance across the wider structures team.
The project is entering a crucial phase, with pricing being refreshed following design developments, so we're looking for someone with strong NEC expertise who can confidently manage change and deliver commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial delivery of the £5m A46 roundabout package.
Manage NEC Option C contracts and compensation events.
Review design changes and assess commercial impacts.
Support and mentor the wider Quantity Surveying team.
Build strong relationships with the client and project delivery teams.
About You
Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on major highways or infrastructure projects.
Strong working knowledge of NEC Option C contracts.
Experienced in managing compensation events and commercial change.
Background in highways, heavy civils, bridges, or major infrastructure.
Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management skills.

45-hour working week
100% site-based (Monday-Friday) due to close collaboration with the client and delivery teams.
