An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part-time Speech and Language Therapist to join a friendly specialist school in Horsham from September 2026.
You'll join an expanding therapy team, working alongside teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality speech and language support for children and young people with additional needs.
Your Responsibilities - part-time speech and language therapist (3 days)
Deliver SaLT-led social communication groups.
Facilitate LEGO®-Based Therapy sessions.
Provide 1:1 speech, language and communication interventions.
Complete assessments, reports, EHCP advice and progress reviews.
Support staff in creating communication-friendly learning environments.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for pupils.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
Completion of the RCSLT Qualified Practitioner competencies.
At least two years' post-qualification experience.
A passion for supporting neurodiverse children and young people.
An interest in social communication and autism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
